Welcome to The Cup and Saucer. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, products, and services, including card payments made online, over the phone, or in person (e.g. at events or upon delivery).

By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Please note: We do not operate a physical shop. All products and services are available for delivery, pre-arranged collection, or at pop-up events.

Payment Terms

We accept debit and credit card payments in the following ways:

  • Online via our secure website checkout.

  • Over the phone via a secure card transaction process.

  • In person via card reader (e.g. at events or on delivery).

Payment Processing

All card payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details. Your data is handled in accordance with GDPR and PCI-DSS compliance standards.

Authorisation

By providing your card details, you authorise The Cup and Saucer to charge the full amount of your order to your card, including any applicable delivery fees, taxes, or service charges.

Orders, Deliveries, and Cancellations

Placing Orders

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation. Once confirmed, you will receive a summary of your order via email or text. You are responsible for ensuring your delivery address and contact details are correct at the time of ordering.

Deliveries

We offer local delivery to selected areas. Delivery times are arranged in advance and subject to availability. If we are unable to complete delivery due to incorrect information or failure to receive the delivery, it may be treated as a no-show.

- Delivery will be to one address per order only, please see our delivery charges on our order page

- Delivery will be delivered within an allotted time slot that you have agreed with The Cup and Saucer. If there are any issues, we reserve the right to alter the delivery time. Should this happen, we will contact you.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or collection time.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 working days.

No-Shows & Missed Deliveries

If no one is available to receive the order at the agreed delivery time and location, we may treat this as a no-show and retain payment. We will attempt to contact you before making that decision.

Pricing and Availability

All prices are listed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices or discontinue products at any time without prior notice. Availability may vary based on delivery area and seasonal ingredients.

6.

Allergy and Dietary Requirements

It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary needs at the time of ordering. While we do our best to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

7.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cup and Saucer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by delays, delivery issues, or product availability — except where caused by our negligence.

8.

Privacy Policy

All personal information is handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy] on a separate page on this website.We do not sell or share your data with third parties except where necessary to process payments or deliveries.

9.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Other

- All crockery and cake stands belonging to The Cup and Saucer delivered with the Afternoon Tea are to be placed in the provided bag or box and left outside of the front door to ensure Social Distancing. The Team will collect this at the agreed time.

- We reserve the right to charge £5 for any piece of crockery owned by The Cup and Saucer and damaged or broken by the recipient of the Afternoon Tea.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. By continuing to use our services, you accept any revised Terms.
